City of Evanston's Participatory Budgeting Program

The City of Evanston hired Green Alley Strategies to increase stakeholder involvement and voter turnout in its inaugural implementation of Participatory Budgeting.

Radio ads

When union steelworkers were locked out of Oregon Steel's Rocky Mountain Steel facility, Scott helped lead the Steelworkers Union's corporate campaign. Shebops Productions produced a series of radio ads to help end the illegal lockout. The company tried to get the "Practice" ad pulled, but the facts were clear and "Practice" continued to let Portlanders know that Oregon Steel was the city's biggest polluter. "Garbage" targeted a state bill to get the public to pay for pollution while "Out of the Sky" encouraged local residents to report mysterious night time emissions.
